Wesley club welcomes anyone who loves food and friendship regardless of where you are in your faith walk, or lack of one. We are deeply committed to making all feel welcome and accepted for who they are!

The Wesley Club Dinners are led by GSUMC Pastor Justin White.
Pastor Justin brings a distinctive blend of theological depth, pastoral experience, and authentic leadership to his ministry. A native of rural Mississippi, Pastor Justin was baptized at Shiloh United Methodist Church in 1984 and has been deeply rooted in the United Methodist tradition throughout his life.…
Meet Our Intern Emma Yost
Emma (she/her) is the Intern for Wesley Club and college/young adult ministries at Garden Street United Methodist Church. She is a native Texan and grew up moving across the North Texas area. She moved to Bellingham in the summer of 2025 and is beyond happy to call it home after spending her summers in the PNW as a child. She has been a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and has served at many different congregations in Texas.
Emma holds a Political Science degree from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi (2024) and is a current Master’s of Teaching candidate at Western Governors University. Emma has a deep passion for education and the processes through which individuals learn and grow. She has been working in elementary education since 2020 and also has experience working in higher education.
