JOIN US FOR WORSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP

Every Sunday at 2:30 pm

Each week we gather to pray and center ourselves on God. Our United Methodist service includes liturgy, hymns, and a message that uplifts and challenges our spirit.
    ABOUT US

A vibrant community grounded in love

Garden Street United Methodist Church is committed to help persons to know the love and presence of God, as revealed through the life and teaching of Jesus Christ and as a living and positive reality.

    WHERE ARE WE NOW?

    The Church is the People

During our transition period while we search for a new permanent home for our church community, Garden Street United Methodist Church is still committed to meeting together for Sunday worship. We invite everyone who feels comfortable gathering in person to join us at 2:30 pm at the First Congregational United Church of Christ on Cornwall Ave. For those who wish to join us virtually, we also livestream the service on our YouTube page:

    Last Week's Service:

    ALL MEANS ALL

    An inclusive congregation

Garden Street United Methodist Church extends to all the hand of friendship and faith, believing every person is of sacred worth. We commit ourselves to the hospitality Jesus taught, by creating a place of safety and spiritual sanctuary for people in all stages of their faith journey. We are enriched by people of all ages, racial or ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, political affiliations, economic levels, mental or physical conditions, biblical interpretations, and family structures. We gather for worship, study, and fellowship and we disperse to spread God’s love in the community. As we strive to become a church of full inclusion, we will continue to engage with one another and celebrate our similarities and differences. We encourage ourselves and challenge our denomination to truly embrace “Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors.”
